As a future-oriented company, we have been working for the automotive industry at our headquarters in Spaichingen since our foundation in 1955, where we specialize in the large-scale production of innovative locking and fastening elements as well as cold extruded parts. Around 7 million safety elements leave our two plants in Spaichingen every day and are installed in safety-relevant connections by internationally renowned customers in the production of vehicles and machines. In order to continue its constant growth, the company expanded by constructing a 15,500 m2 production and logistics building with a state-of-the-art, fully automated high-bay warehouse. With around 600 employees, we are one of the largest employers in and around Spaichingen and are proud to be able to create real added value for our home region.
Our international locations
HEWI Fasteners in Taiwan
The company HEWI Fasteners Asia Inc. on the South Asian island of Taiwan is located in the Science Park of the city of Kaoshiung and, as our supplier, is in constant dialog with our HEWI employees in Spaichingen. By investing in the company’s own premises and constructing a modern building with a large production hall, our customers in the Asian automotive market can also benefit from proximity and fast, reliable delivery.
HEWI Fasteners in China
HEWI Fasteners Nanjing Co. Ltd. from the Sharehouse Nanjing building complex also sells our locknuts and cold extruded parts on the Chinese automotive market. This means that both Chinese automotive customers and joint ventures between European and Chinese car manufacturers and suppliers, including their local plants, are provided with expert technical support and also supplied directly.
AHWION
When two globally successful technology companies such as Anton Häring KG and HEWI G. Winker GmbH Co. KG join forces with their expertise, experience and process know-how, technological progress is guaranteed. That’s why we combine our expertise in the AHWION joint venture and rely on innovative processes to manufacture high-precision, high-performance products for our customers – without compromising on quality.
HEWI FORMTECH
The site in Romania was founded in 2023. The dedicated team currently comprises 20 employees and is growing steadily. HEWI FORMTECH successfully started production in 2024.
