Even though many HEWI products have become the technical standard, we constantly focus on optimization and innovation, as continuous further development is one of our key success factors in international competition. Proof of this are our numerous awards and patents for products in the locknut sector, with which HEWI is a leader in the automotive industry.

A current development topic at HEWI is the geometric optimization of nuts and cold extruded parts. This is achieved, for example, by intrinsic reinforcement using the deformation history using the example of rotationally symmetrical cold extruded parts. This means that the interaction of material, material, design, production and function is included in the overall design strategy.

Know-how in quality and process management

In order to guarantee the highest quality standards for our HEWI products, we demand and promote transparent, economical, stable and productive processes throughout. This includes the seamless control of state-of-the-art and fully equipped testing and measuring equipment. At HEWI, we work according to the Japanese Kaizen principle, which provides for continuous improvement and further development of products and processes. This enables us to guarantee our customers perfect quality and at the same time increase our efficiency and effectiveness.
